Description
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is soliciting a contractor to provide a two-year preventative maintenance program for well pump systems at Mixsawbah State Fish Hatchery. The scope includes an initial inspection, development of a maintenance protocol, one prescheduled service visit per year, systematic inspections and testing, cleaning, adjustments, lubrication and packing changes, valve exercising, corrosion removal, repainting, service documentation, and necessary repairs and part replacements within the maintenance scope. The contractor must maintain the equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, industry standards, building codes, and State requirements. The contractor may also be called upon for separately invoiced emergency services, including a telephone response within 30 minutes and onsite service within a timeframe agreed with the site's property manager. Motor or pump replacement and teardown are outside the contract scope. The bid package requires the State's quotation form with pricing, original handwritten signatures, and all required documents enclosed in a single sealed envelope, while the opportunity description also directs bidders to submit through the designated bidding email with a prescribed subject line; this apparent submission-method conflict should be clarified before bidding.
