Description
The Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District seeks a qualified contractor to convert 70 acres of irrigated tree production from surface/flood irrigation to a gravity-powered micro-irrigation system. The work includes finalizing system designs, purchasing and delivering equipment, integrating existing wells and buried PVC infrastructure, installing and commissioning the system, and delivering water directly to tree root zones. The project targets reduced water use and improved irrigation uniformity, with estimated annual savings of approximately 155 acre-feet. Proposals must address the technical approach, relevant government and irrigation-district experience, proposed personnel, past performance, cost response, subcontractors, and required certifications and affidavits. The solicitation requires one original and four copies, sealed and labeled, with electronic submission also available through the District's purchasing system; facsimile and email submissions are not accepted.
