Description
Manatee County is soliciting construction services for the Southeast Water Reclamation Facility's third sludge holding tank and associated improvements. The scope includes rehabilitation of two gravity belt thickeners; polymer-system upgrades; installation of a new 1-million-gallon storage tank; blower replacement and expansion of the blower building; new blower piping and mixing systems for all three tanks; sludge-transfer pump replacement and piping upgrades; a new electrical building; electrical, instrumentation, and controls improvements; and stormwater pond modifications. This is an invitation for bid construction procurement. A 5% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide 100% payment and performance bonds after award. The bid package includes the invitation for bid, technical specifications, 100% design drawings, environmental permits, and three addenda. Bidders must submit the listed bid forms, minimum-qualification information, project references, licensing documentation, certifications, and pricing for either a 680-calendar-day or 720-calendar-day completion schedule.
