Description
BASIS Charter Schools, Inc. seeks proposals for turnkey replacement of existing fire alarm systems at two campuses. The work includes field surveys; system design, engineering, permitting, and authority coordination; new compatible alarm equipment and wiring; monitoring and building-system interfaces; and an emergency voice/alarm communication system. Contractors must demolish and dispose of replaced components, program and test the systems, obtain final acceptance, and provide closeout materials and staff training. A minimum two-year workmanship warranty is required. Proposals must provide separate lump-sum pricing and schedules for each campus, with any combined-award savings identified. The response should include contractor qualifications and Arizona licensing information, at least two comparable project references, the proposed system and equipment, quantities, campus-specific schedules, pricing, alternates and exceptions, and proposed contract terms. The solicitation requires the attached subcontractor list, offer sheet, and notarized non-collusion affidavit. A mandatory site visit is required to bid; the RFP specifies a November 11 visit window and RSVP to the project contact.
