Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking quotations from a service-disabled veteran-owned small business for the replacement and installation of two walk-in coolers and one walk-in freezer. The scope includes refrigeration systems, panels, doors, flooring, controls, lighting, accessories, delivery, removal and disposal of existing units, refrigerant recovery, assembly, utility connections, refrigerant piping, electrical and control wiring, sealing, startup, testing, commissioning, and operational demonstrations. The systems must meet specified temperature ranges and applicable UL, NSF, EISA 2009, food-safety, code, and VA requirements. The amendment answers an offeror question by adding redacted project drawings as Attachment 3; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The work includes coordination of shutdowns and lockout procedures, post-installation testing, operation and maintenance manuals, warranty registration, and startup and operational test reports. The installation window is 6 to 9 weeks. Quotations must include OEM authorization documentation, required representations and certifications, acknowledgment of the amendment, and a statement accepting or identifying exceptions to the solicitation terms.
