Description
The Military Sealift Command requires comprehensive, worldwide ocean-going operation and maintenance services for eight NAVAJO Class T-ATS towing, salvage, and rescue vessels. The contractor must provide qualified ship officers and crews; shore-side and afloat operational and technical support; equipment, tools, provisions, supplies, maintenance, repairs, logistics, hotel services, medical support, communications, security, training, environmental compliance, property management, and quality and safety management. The requirement uses a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated model and includes support for towing, salvage, diving, rescue, dynamic positioning, mission-equipment installation and removal, shipyard availabilities, regulatory certifications, ship repairs, and lifecycle engineering. The contractor must maintain a TOP SECRET facility clearance and employ personnel with required TOP SECRET and SECRET clearances. The notice is a presolicitation and states that no contract or purchase order will be awarded from the notice itself; the future solicitation is expected to be issued separately.
