Description
The contractor will provide comprehensive stevedoring and related terminal services for importing and exporting designated U.S. Government cargo through the Port of Bremerhaven. The scope includes vessel loading and discharge, lashing and unlashing, cargo inspection and preparation, handling of vehicles, containers, aircraft, breakbulk, hazardous materials, and other military cargo, as well as vessel housekeeping and cargo securing. The contractor must provide qualified labor, supervision, contractor-furnished equipment and material-handling equipment, rigging, tools, supplies, dunnage, safety and environmental support, and the capability to operate multiple vessels and decks simultaneously, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and 365 days per year. The solicitation requires a technical worksheet, mission-essential continuity plan, completed schedule of rates, contract documentation, applicable licenses and permits, HAZMAT certifications, and supporting price and compliance information. The five-year ordering period runs from May 1, 2027, through April 30, 2032, with a possible six-month extension through October 31, 2032.
