Description
Military Sealift Command is conducting market research for one clean, approved, U.S.-flag, double-hull, ice-class tanker under an extended-term charter. The vessel must operate worldwide, call at McMurdo, Antarctica, meet specified Polar Code and classification requirements, and be delivered and redelivered in the Mediterranean Sea. It must support carriage of JP8, JP5, F76, and other clean products, meet specified dimensions, capacity, draft, speed, segregation, cargo-operation, and equipment requirements, and remain under 20 years of age throughout the charter. Before delivery, the vessel must be equipped with two approved Consolidated Cargo Operations stations on the starboard side and one Fuel Delivery Station on the port side. Respondents must provide vessel and company information, supporting technical documentation and stowage plans, estimated daily charter rates and fuel consumption, installation costs and schedule, delivery readiness information, and any relevant comments.
