Description
The Military Sealift Command is conducting a sources-sought market survey for clean, U.S.- or foreign-flagged, double-hull tankers capable of carrying at least 12,000 barrels of jet propellant (JPTS). The vessel must have an inert gas system, segregated ballast tanks, designated cargo tanks with double-valve isolation, and meet specified age, size, draft, mooring, winch, bow-thruster, crane, and cargo-handling requirements. The intended voyage would load at South Killingholme Jetty in Killingholme, United Kingdom, and discharge at Akrotiri, Cyprus, during laydays commencing November 7, 2026, and cancelling November 14, 2026. Respondents are asked to provide company information, small-business status, vessel details and Q88, lump-sum charter and demurrage rates, alternative vessel features, and confirmation of compliance with the stated requirements.
