Description
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is seeking a contractor to reinforce the basement ceiling at 2230 64th Street in Brooklyn. The work includes temporary shoring, installation of a new structural beam and columns integrated into the foundation floor, securing new and existing joists with hangers and nails, mechanically connecting sistered beams, and relocating and reinstalling affected plumbing and electrical systems. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, disposal, daily cleanup, floor coverings, temporary access control, and site protection in an occupied residence, following the provided structural drawings and applicable New York State codes. This is an Article 8 New York State public works project requiring prevailing wages, certified payroll, and valid New York State Department of Labor contractor registration before quote submission. A mandatory site visit is required, subcontractors require prior written approval, and the quote must include the completed Quote Proposal Form, a detailed materials/equipment/labor/overhead-and-profit cost breakdown, and the contractor's NYSDOL registration number. The selected contractor must complete the work within 15 days of receiving the purchase order, subject to the stated project requirements.
