Description
Greenville Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids for HVAC upgrades at Cedar Crest Elementary. The mechanical scope includes demolition of existing horizontal unit ventilators and associated accessories; furnishing and installing new horizontal unit ventilators, air-cooled condensing units, refrigerant piping, hot-water piping connections, controls, insulation, louvers, testing and balancing, and related plumbing and mechanical work. The project includes approximately 27 air-cooled condensing units and horizontal unit ventilators serving classrooms, with equipment, capacities, controls, and installation requirements detailed in the drawings and schedules. The electrical scope includes demolition and replacement or reconnection of electrical equipment serving the HVAC systems, new utility and distribution equipment, panelboards, feeders, disconnects, conduit, wiring, controls, grounding, firestopping, and final connections. Bidders must submit bids in triplicate, include a 5% bid bond or bid security, and provide the required sworn and notarized familial disclosure and Iran Economic Sanctions Act affidavit. The work is scheduled during the summer break from June 5 through August 9, 2027, and includes required permits, inspections, testing, warranties, and closeout documentation.
