Description

The U.S. Navy is seeking repair, upgrade, overhaul, testing, inspection, and reassembly services for 22 display units, identified by NSN 7025-01-601-8116 and part number 9200-42000-0201. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary to return the units to a Ready for Issue condition. Work includes component repair and replacement, testing, inspection, process-control documentation, and storage in an enclosed warehouse environment. The requirement is sole source because the Government lacks sufficient technical data to contract with another source. Unapproved sources must submit the information required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with their proposal. The contractor must perform repairs at the identified repair facility, maintain an ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100-compliant quality system, comply with applicable configuration-management and packaging requirements, and obtain Government approval for specified changes, beyond-economical-repair determinations, and over-and-above repair work.
