Description
Kent ISD is soliciting proposals for basic maintenance of internal connections covering 78 uninterruptible power supply and battery-backup units at 11 school buildings. The requested work includes repair and upkeep of eligible hardware, basic technical support, configuration changes, software upgrades and patches, and any necessary labor and materials. Bidders must separately identify eligible and ineligible costs, estimated labor hours, and materials for each equipment type, and provide separate pricing by contract year where applicable. The solicitation permits bids for equipment, labor, or both, and requires a detailed bill of materials identifying manufacturer, part number, unit cost, and quantity. The selected contractor must provide testing, installation-related support where proposed, warranty documentation, and three years of follow-on support. The bid package requires references, a USF Service Provider Identification Number, specified affidavits, prevailing-wage documentation where applicable, and a bid bond when the base bid is at least $31,321.
