The U.S. Navy is soliciting repair and upgrade services for RECORDER, FLIGHT DAT units, identified by part number 187750-001 and NSN 6610-017-137-308. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, testing, inspection, reassembly, and related procedures needed to restore the units to Ready for Issue condition in accordance with the latest applicable repair technical publications, drawings, and approved repair procedures. The work includes a required repair turnaround time of 55 days after receipt, Government inspection and acceptance, repair assessment testing, historical records for each processed item, quality-control and quality-assurance systems meeting specified military, ISO, or equivalent standards, configuration management, compliant marking and packaging, and enclosed storage for assets awaiting repair or shipment. The contractor must identify the repair source and actual performance location and obtain approval for changes to repair procedures, facilities, or sources.
