Description
United Independent School District is seeking a qualified provider for ambulance services at Athletics and Fine Arts events and emergency pickups for students and staff at designated campuses in the Rio Bravo and El Cenizo areas. Event coverage requires a mobile intensive care unit with Advanced Life Support or Basic Life Support capability, state-mandated equipment and supplies, and at least two state-certified paramedics present during events. The provider must arrive before events and remain afterward as specified, including coverage for football games and scheduled fine arts events. The provider must also maintain an on-call ambulance unit at all times and be able to dispatch immediately for emergency pickups. Proposers must provide a valid Texas Department of State Health Services license and at least three recent client recommendation letters for similar services. The contract term is 30 months, from January 1, 2027, through August 31, 2029. Proof of insurance meeting the district's professional-service requirements is due from the selected vendor within five business days after award notification.
