Description
The County Line Drainage District is requesting proposals for annual financial auditing services covering the fiscal years ending September 30, 2026, September 30, 2027, and September 30, 2028, with an option for an additional two-year renewal. The District is a Florida special-purpose government entity serving approximately 3,732 acres of agricultural land in Lee County and has an annual operating budget of approximately $250,700. Proposers must be duly licensed under Chapter 473, Florida Statutes, and qualified to conduct audits under government auditing standards adopted by the Florida Board of Accountancy, commonly known as Yellow Book standards. Audits must comply with Florida law, including Section 218.39, Florida Statutes, and the rules of the Florida Auditor General. Proposers must submit qualifications and supporting documentation, and proposed audit fees must remain valid for at least 90 days.
