Description
The Township of Edgewater Park is seeking an experienced full-time Township Administrator to oversee day-to-day municipal operations, personnel and department heads, budget preparation, grant funding, and liaison activities with the governing body and the public and business community. The administrator will also address municipal purchasing, public contracts, New Jersey civil service, collective bargaining, risk management, redevelopment and planning matters, grants, and capital planning. The position requires at least three years of progressively responsible local-government administration or comparable public-sector management experience and a bachelor's degree from an accredited college. A master's degree in public administration is preferred. The selected administrator will attend regular Township Committee meetings and special meetings as required. The position is available February 1, 2027, with an expected transitional overlap, and has a stated full-time salary range of $95,000 to $135,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
