Description
The City of Keene is seeking a contractor for the Monadnock View Cemetery Expansion Project, involving site development of approximately 9.5 acres. The work includes erosion and sedimentation controls, clearing and grubbing, excavation and rough grading, aggregate base courses, asphalt paving including porous pavement, ornamental aluminum fencing and gates, water service connections with plastic water pipe, curb stops, yard hydrants, a meter pit and reduced-pressure-zone structure, turf establishment, landscaping, invasive-species control, mobilization, and cleanup. The bid includes unit-price work, a $50,000 construction contingency allowance, and a landscaping add alternate. Bidders must submit the provided bid forms, including unit prices, bidder qualifications and experience information, and a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid. The successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds and execute the contract within 10 days after notification of award.
