Description
The City of Keene is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for comprehensive improvements to the Robin Hood Park swimming pool. The work includes removal and replacement of the concrete pool deck, installation of a commercial PVC pool liner, pool concrete rehabilitation, floor drains and drainage piping, depth markers and warning tiles, main drain covers, an ADA pool lift, a winterization safety cover, fiberglass grating, and repairs to the existing gutter and surge tank. The project also includes mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and water-treatment improvements, including filter media, a recirculation pump, chemical feed and control equipment, valves and piping, a new water service connection, electrical bonding and wiring, and related equipment-room and bathhouse improvements. The engineer's estimate is $1 million. A 5% bid bond and 100% performance and payment bonds are required, and bidders must demonstrate experience completing at least five similar public-use pools within the last ten years.
