Description
The Chino Basin Water Conservation District is soliciting proposals for a design-build project to renovate and modernize its existing monument sign. The selected firm will design, engineer, fabricate, and install a new two-sided outdoor LED display and non-digital sign elements on the existing concrete base and footing. The scope includes removal of existing non-concrete sign elements, illuminated push-through lettering, structural supports, exploratory site surveying, final design drawings, engineering confirmation, permitting, installation, wiring, and prevailing-wage demolition and installation labor. The LED display must meet detailed performance requirements, including outdoor weather protection, automatic brightness adjustment, web-based content-management software, communications connectivity, manufacturer support, a minimum five-year parts and labor warranty, lifetime diagnostic support, parts availability for at least ten years, and manufacturer-provided installation support and training. Proposals must include a design approach, scaled preliminary design, product specifications and documentation, qualifications, relevant experience, references, a project milestone schedule, pricing by task category, and the required appendices and certifications. The proposal may not exceed 25 pages excluding appendices, with design and specification pages excluded from that limit.
