Description
The City of Louisville is soliciting a contractor to perform earthwork and structural construction at the Aquarius Open Space Parking Lot. The base work includes scarifying, grading, compacting, and resurfacing approximately 18,000 square feet; removing and replacing 23 rubber wheel stops; installing one double-post hinged bollard; and installing one 16-foot metal barrier gate with posts. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, anchoring hardware, concrete, site safety, temporary protection fencing, restoration and reseeding, utility coordination, permits, and project scheduling. The solicitation also includes additive alternatives for wheel-stop replacement at the Daughenbaugh and Davidson Mesa parking lots. Bidders must submit a lump-sum proposal using the provided bid form, along with a letter of interest, qualifications and three similar-project examples, three client references, a proposed schedule, the completed disclosure statement, subcontractor information, bid security, contractor licensing, insurance documentation, a site safety plan, and materials submittals. The project is scheduled to begin November 2, 2026, and be completed December 16, 2026.
