Description
The County of Kaua'i, through its Division of Purchasing, is soliciting electronic sealed bids for construction of a complete helicopter hangar for the Kauai Fire Department. The scope includes erosion and sediment-control measures; water service and backflow prevention; sewer and electrical connections; grading and grassing; a concrete landing and parking area; walkways, wheel stops, signs, and striping; and complete construction of the hangar building, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical work. Bidders must hold a Hawai'i State Contractor's License Type A or B before submitting a bid. The solicitation requires acceptance of the listed solicitation documents, a bid bond, and electronic submission through the Public Purchase System. Contractors must register as Public Purchase vendors for the Hawaii Region and Kauai County Agency. Tax, registration, and labor compliance documentation will be obtained through Hawai'i Compliance Express before award. The project is funded by the State of Hawai'i and County of Kaua'i.
