Description
The Mason County Development Authority is seeking a contractor for the Henderson Development Preliminary Earthwork Package 1. The work includes transporting and placing fill dirt, undercutting areas to a specified depth, and replacing removed material with engineered fill. The work must be substantially completed within 120 calendar days after contract commencement and completed and ready for final payment within 150 calendar days. Liquidated damages are $500 per day. Bids require a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the base bid, a West Virginia contractor's license, and Drug Free Workplace Certification. A two-envelope bid system applies, with the bid proposal placed inside a separately labeled outer envelope.
