Description
The City of Huntington is offering the unused Westmoreland Fire Station #8 and associated property for purchase on an as-is basis. The property includes a historic one- and two-story masonry-framed structure of approximately 2,628 square feet on approximately 0.124 acres, with garage bays, storage and locker-room areas, living quarters, kitchen and dining areas, sleeping quarters, a full bathroom, and related site improvements. The property is zoned C-1, Neighborhood-Commercial District, and has access to public utilities. Proposals must identify the entity that will hold title, state the proposed purchase price and intended use, and, if applicable, identify the number of jobs to be created. Proposers may include other pertinent information. An appraisal included with the solicitation estimates the property's as-is market value at $185,000.
