The project involves the complete renovation of approximately 1,450 square metres on the fourth floor of the west wing of Granby Hospital to establish a mother-and-child unit. The currently unoccupied area will consolidate obstetrics, neonatology, pediatrics, family spaces, clinical functions, administrative and staff-support areas, and technical rooms. The program includes a reception area, waiting room, parent space, 10 obstetrics rooms, four neonatology rooms, four pediatrics rooms, a resuscitation room, preparation rooms, clean and soiled utility rooms, storage areas, administrative spaces, technical rooms, and day-pediatrics spaces. The work includes architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire-protection, medical-gas, telecommunications, nurse-call, security, and access-control interventions, along with restoration of the terrace adjacent to the elevator-lobby area. The estimated contract period is 30 months.
