The New York State Thruway Authority is seeking bids from contracting firms to replace existing paint booth mechanical systems at its Buffalo Maintenance location. The work includes air make-up units, exhaust systems, ductwork, controls, installation, commissioning, and related training, while reusing the existing paint booth structure. The contractor must provide transportation, unloading, assembly, testing, start-up, customer orientation training, final commissioning, roof work and weatherproofing associated with duct penetrations, compressed-air piping and filtration, and a one-year full warranty for parts and labor. The bid must include detailed product specifications and supporting technical data. The procurement includes MWBE/WBE and SDVOB participation goals of 30% and 6%, respectively, and identifies CT-24078 held by Gem Tool Inc. as an identical or substantially similar prior contract.
