Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor for drydock repairs and alterations to the 45-foot RB-M response boat identified as USCG 45665. The scope includes general welding; ultrasonic hull testing; underwater hull inspection and plating repairs; fender repairs; diesel fuel-tank cleaning, inspection, defueling, and refueling; main diesel engine, generator, and water-jet alignment and servicing; electrical isolation; anode renewal; preservation of the underwater body, water jets, fender surfaces, and bilges; nonskid-pad replacement; marine chemist services; drydocking and undocking; temporary services; and sea-trial support. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, facilities, and related services. Required proposal materials include a completed and signed SF 1449, priced schedule of supplies and services, past-performance information, applicable small-business self-certification, welding certifications and procedures, proof of insurance, drydock or travel-lift certification, AMPP/NACE Level 3 or QP-1 certification, a planning document, SAM UEI and TIN, proof of JCP certification, and completed applicable representations and certifications. The solicitation requires current JCP registration and a request for the current vessel drawings before submitting a quote.
