Description
The City of Scottsdale seeks a contractor to provide continuous hauling and transport of processed green waste, consisting of brush, leaves, grass, and organic debris processed to a 2-inch-minus specification. The contractor must provide labor, hauling equipment, trained personnel, transportation, securement and tarping systems, and all services necessary to remove material from the City's Transfer Station without creating a backlog. The contractor must transport the material to approved, permitted composting, recycling, or beneficial-reuse facilities for resale, landscaping, agricultural applications, or other approved end markets, and must guarantee that the material is not landfilled. Responsibilities include coordinating daily with facility staff, responding to scheduled and as-needed hauling demands, preventing spillage or litter, and complying with applicable safety, environmental, licensing, permitting, and insurance requirements. The initial contract term is five years, with up to two additional five-year extensions. Required proposal materials include a project approach and capacity document, firm qualifications and experience, pricing, exceptions, and the specified City forms and questionnaires.
