Raleigh County Schools is soliciting bids for the Park Middle School Roof Replacements project located at 212 Park Ave, Beckley, WV 25801. The scope of work includes removal and disposal of existing roof systems down to the wood deck, installation of a 1/4:12 tapered polyisocyanurate insulation system achieving an average R-32, installation of 1/2" gypsum coverboard, and a cold-applied 2-ply SBS modified bitumen membrane system. The project also includes raising curbs, plumbing stacks, and equipment supports to accommodate new insulation thicknesses, liquid flashing of penetrations larger than 2 inches, pitch pockets for smaller penetrations, and application of aluminized reflective coating. New shop-fabricated counterflashing, flashless edge metal, fascia extenders, and coping caps in the owner's choice of color will be installed. The manufacturer's warranty will be provided upon completion. The contractor must employ a manufacturer's field representative based in West Virginia for at least three days per week during installation. A 30-year NDL edge-to-edge warranty is required.
