Description
Oakvale Road Public Service District is soliciting sealed bids for Phase I of a wastewater extension project. The work includes approximately 12,540 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer, 496 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe gravity sewer, 1,415 linear feet of 6-inch service connections, 391 linear feet of 4-inch service connections, 1,353 linear feet of 2-inch force main, valves, service lines, meter settings, one duplex grinder pump station, and related appurtenances. Substantial completion is required within 300 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The project is federally assisted through USDA Rural Development and is subject to applicable federal labor, civil rights, affirmative action, minority and female participation, American Iron and Steel, Davis-Bacon, and related requirements. A current West Virginia contractor's license is required. Bids must include a 5% bid bond, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
