Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks on-call snow and ice management for the Beckley VA Medical Center campus throughout the covered winter season, with continuous 24/7 availability. The contractor must provide all management, labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, fuel, deicing and anti-icing materials, and incidentals needed to maintain safe access across roads, parking areas, garages, sidewalks, steps, ramps, courtyards, loading areas, and emergency routes. Work includes plowing, clearing, pre-treatment, repeated deicing, and relocating or hauling snow when accumulation affects safety or parking capacity. The attached snow plan identifies priority areas and designated snow-disposal locations. The contractor must monitor weather continuously, meet response standards, maintain sufficient resources and approved materials, protect government property, and keep event logs. The solicitation requires a separate technical-capability narrative describing the proposed method of performance and a past-performance document covering relevant work from the past three years, along with completed pricing and solicitation forms. The contract is firm-fixed-price, with a stated performance period of November 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027, and may include option years as determined by the Government.
