Description
The project replaces existing waterlines in the Yards, Nemours, and Wolfe communities and upgrades the system to support fire hydrant installation. Contract No. 5 includes approximately 6,100 linear feet of service lines, five meters and settings, three service reconnections, two service relocations, valves, hydrants, and associated appurtenances. Bidders must hold a West Virginia contractor’s license. The contract documents identify affirmative action requirements and goals, certification of non-segregated facilities, labor standards, American Iron and Steel requirements, and Build America, Buy America requirements.
