Description
The University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks bids for a force-measuring treadmill for biomechanics research. The system must measure six-degree-of-freedom ground reaction forces independently under each foot and include integrated video-based markerless motion capture, synchronized force and motion data, and compatible data outputs. The solicitation specifies minimum performance requirements for sampling rates, resonant frequencies, speed, acceleration, incline and decline, and programmable control capabilities. The bid must include the treadmill, delivery and installation, on-site training, technical support, and a full-coverage warranty of at least one year. Bidders must provide detailed technical specifications, warranty and service information, and a technical proposal; they must also demonstrate relevant experience and manufacturer authorization or an authorized-parts-dealer account. Delivery and installation must be completed by April 1, 2027.
