Description
The Indian Health Service is seeking capability statements from interested parties for a non-personal, firm-fixed-price medical waste disposal services contract supporting the Wagner Health Center. The anticipated requirement includes a base year plus four one-year option periods, with regular medical waste pickup twice monthly. The contractor would provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, receptacles, handling, transport, and disposal of infectious and other regulated or non-regulated medical waste. Required services also include pickup logs, monthly manifests, certificates of destruction, permits and other compliance documentation, monthly billing, disposal at an EPA-certified landfill, maintenance of waste areas, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including RCRA, OSHA, South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and DOT requirements.
