Description
Pierce County is conducting a Request for Information to identify organizations or project teams capable of managing and operating tiny home villages and other non-congregate transitional housing, while providing or coordinating supportive services for residents. Potential responsibilities include site staffing, participant intake, property and facility management, security, maintenance, janitorial services, common-area management, meals or food access, transportation, emergency response, case management, housing navigation, behavioral health and recovery supports, reentry services, workforce development, benefits enrollment, and independent-living assistance. Development capacity is optional. Respondents may describe capabilities related to identifying or securing sites, developing County-provided property, coordinating permitting and infrastructure, procuring or constructing housing units, or participating on an integrated development and operations team. The County is considering projects ranging from approximately 5 or 10 units to larger villages of 25 or more units, up to approximately 60 units. This is an informational RFI, not a competitive solicitation, and responses will not be scored or used directly to award a contract. Respondents must complete and upload the downloadable questionnaire through the County's eProcurement Portal.
