Description
Pierce Transit is soliciting bids for unit-priced, on-call snow and ice removal. The contractor must furnish labor, equipment, and materials for emergency snow and ice removal at one or more Pierce Transit locations throughout Pierce County, including manual snow clearing from transit center platforms. The contract will expire 12 months after the Notice to Proceed or when $100,000, including applicable sales tax, has been expended, whichever occurs first. If funds remain at the end of the term, the contract may be extended for one additional year by mutual agreement. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the maximum contract amount.
