Description
The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting bids for annual lift safety inspections, testing, certification, preventive maintenance, and repair services for boom lifts, man lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts at state facilities throughout California. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, replacement parts, inspection reports, certification stickers, and emergency repair services required to keep the equipment operational and compliant with applicable standards. The State intends to award up to three separate regional contracts covering the High North and Northern, Bay and Central, and Los Angeles Metro, Los Angeles East, and Southern regions. Bidders may bid on one or multiple regions. The anticipated contract term is 36 months. Minimum qualifications include Automotive Lift Institute lift inspector certification and Cal/OSHA-compliant operator training certification. Bidders must submit references, proof of insurance, required state certifications, a completed cost sheet, and the specified bid forms and certifications. A 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation requirement applies.
