Description
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Fish and Wildlife, intends to purchase Prenfish, the only liquid rotenone piscicide registered for use in New York State. The product will be used to completely remove non-native fish from a waterbody to support creation of a round whitefish broodstock source. Suppliers must be licensed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's Bureau of Pesticides to sell pesticides in New York State. This is a discretionary procurement under State Finance Law § 163(6), rather than an open solicitation for quotes; interested firms may submit supporting information for consideration for this and potential future awards. The contract term is from execution through the end of the current fiscal year.
