Jefferson County, Texas is soliciting bids for a term contract to supply larvicidal oil for its mosquito control program. The oil must kill larvae and pupae stages of mosquitoes by suffocation. The estimated annual quantity is 3,000 gallons, ordered on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for an initial one-year term with an option to renew for four additional years. Bidders must provide current safety data sheets and labels for the chemical, and prices must be quoted F.O.B. Jefferson County Mosquito Control in Beaumont, Texas. The county reserves the right to award to one or multiple bidders and to adjust quantities based on weather and funding.
