Description
The West Virginia Office of Shared Administration, on behalf of William R. Sharpe Jr. Hospital, is soliciting Expressions of Interest from qualified firms to provide architectural/engineering services for the replacement of hospital windows. The project involves evaluating the need for replacement of window glass and/or rubberized seals, gaskets, and frames; separating the building into sections and providing cost estimates for each section; providing cost estimates for optional items such as ballistic glass or film; completing specifications for the selected window replacements; and providing construction administration services including at least three update meetings, a punch list walkthrough, and a final closeout meeting. Design plans must be completed within 90 calendar days of Notice to Proceed, and construction administration shall continue for 720 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The hospital has a maximum budget for this project, which is anticipated to be insufficient to replace all windows, so cost estimates will be used to determine the scope of work for a subsequent RFQ.
