This opportunity is for the demolition, removal, and disposal of mine facilities, including backfilling mine shafts with rock fill and coarse aggregate. The scope of work also includes site preparation and restoration, as well as the preparation and implementation of an erosion and sediment pollution control plan. A lump sum is allocated for mobilization and demobilization, site preparation and restoration, and water collection and treatment related to backfilling mine shafts. Bid documents can be obtained from www.BidExpress.com, PA Department of Environmental Protection, beginning on the Issue Date.
