Description
The Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Rigaku Americas for the renewal of a premium service agreement for Rigaku Ultima III and Haskris Chiller. This service agreement is essential for maintaining research continuity and operability, and includes upgrades, updates, maintenance, and calibrations. The period of performance for this agreement is from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The DOE has determined that Rigaku Americas is the only known source capable of providing this service, based on market research. This notice is not a request for quotes or proposals. Any interested party that believes it can meet the NETL requirement must provide written evidence of their capability by 1:00 PM EDT on June 29, 2026, to Contract Specialist Shannon Lynch at shannon.lynch@netl.doe.gov.
