Description
Cayuga County is soliciting sealed bids for a turnkey project to remove existing courthouse boiler systems and furnish and install two high-efficiency, in-kind-compatible replacement boilers. The scope includes demolition and disposal, boiler and burner equipment, controls, hydronic-system evaluation and modifications, combustion air, venting, gas piping, electrical work, condensate systems, insulation, firestopping, permits, testing, startup, commissioning, code compliance, and integration with the existing building automation system. The contractor must provide factory-authorized startup, combustion and safety testing, commissioning, warranties, and at least four hours of on-site training for County maintenance personnel. The successful bidder must also provide preventive maintenance and emergency service for the installed equipment for five years following final acceptance, including annual inspections, adjustments, combustion analysis, operational testing, BAS communication verification, service reports, response-time commitments, and parts-pricing information. Required bid materials include technical equipment information, pricing, references, financial and responsibility documentation, applicable certifications, insurance evidence, required New York State Department of Labor public-work registration certificates, and completed County forms.
