Description
Northland Associates, Inc. is soliciting qualified subcontractors and suppliers for a single-prime construction project supporting installation of a modular sterile processing facility at an occupied hospital. The scope includes site clearing, erosion control, excavation, grading, drainage, utilities, paving, sidewalks, retaining walls, landscaping, concrete foundations, structural steel, framing, roofing, exterior wall assemblies, selective demolition, doors, glazing, interior finishes, and a new vestibule and connector corridor of approximately 754 square feet. The project also includes modifications and extensions to fire protection, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, telecommunications, security, and building-control systems; major electrical improvements including an emergency generator, automatic transfer switch, transformers, distribution equipment, underground duct banks, and utility coordination; infection-control measures including HEPA-filtered negative air and duct protection; and testing, commissioning, training, warranties, and closeout documentation. The prime is specifically seeking New York State MBE, WBE, and SDVOB subcontractors and suppliers, with stated goals of 12% MBE, 18% WBE, and 1% SDVOB participation.
