Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to proceed on a sole-source basis with CareDx, Inc. for AlloMap Heart and AlloSure Heart blood-testing services supporting noninvasive monitoring of transplant stability and potential rejection in heart-transplant patients. Estimated annual volume is 10 AlloMap Heart tests and 10 AlloSure Heart tests, with no guaranteed minimum quantity. The contractor must provide all labor, testing, materials, equipment, specimen supplies, preservatives, requisition forms, packaging guidance, specimen-collection support, training, result reporting, technical consultation, account support, and related resources. The contractor must maintain applicable CLIA, laboratory-accreditation, licensing, privacy, and VA information-security compliance. Responses must demonstrate the ability to perform both proprietary assays, address the Statement of Work point by point, identify laboratory locations and subcontractors, provide credentials and relevant past performance, and explain any proposed alternative methodology. The contemplated performance structure is one base year plus four one-year option periods, beginning June 3, 2027.
