Description
SUNY Maritime College is seeking a qualified New York State-licensed and registered architect or engineer to provide full design services for an interior finishes rehabilitation project at Baylis Residence Hall. The scope includes design development, cost estimating, coordinated construction documents and specifications, procurement and bidding assistance, and construction administration. Interior work includes window treatments; floor tile overlays and cove base; painting throughout corridors, dormitory rooms, ancillary, storage, service, and basement spaces; LED lighting replacement; wood door skin restoration; signage; and main entrance doors. Addendum No. 1 deletes the elevator rehabilitation project from the scope. Respondents must demonstrate relevant design experience, qualified staff, and compliance with New York State licensing and procurement requirements. The submission requires a Statement of Qualifications and applicable Vendor Responsibility, lobbying-law, tax-law, EEO, MWBE/SDVOB, and other New York State compliance materials. No cost proposal is due with the qualifications submission; the design fee will be negotiated with the most qualified consultant.
