Description
Mahas Construction, as construction manager for American Preparatory Academy, is soliciting labor and material bids for a K–6 addition to an existing elementary school wing. The project includes six new classrooms, three breakout classrooms, and restrooms, to be built in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by SPE Architects. Materials and equipment must be delivered and installed according to the construction manager’s schedule. Substantial completion is required by July 9, 2027. Bidders must examine the plans, specifications, addenda, and other bid documents, and visit the work site to understand existing conditions and limitations. Proposals must be completed on the proposal form available in the specifications, without deletions, alterations, or erasures. A Contractor’s Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305) may be requested; failure to provide a statement satisfactory to the owner may result in rejection as non-responsive.
