Description
The City of Romulus seeks a qualified plumbing contractor to replace 11 existing commercial water meters at customer sites using City-furnished Zenner ultrasonic meters ranging from 3 to 10 inches. The contractor must provide licensed personnel, labor, tools, transportation, supervision, and incidental installation materials; coordinate appointments and water shutoffs; obtain required permits; and install the meters to manufacturer requirements, applicable plumbing codes, and AWWA standards. The contractor must also document each installation, provide before-and-after photographs, return removed meters, and provide at least a 24-month workmanship warranty. Bids require unit pricing by meter size.
