Description
The 181st Intelligence Wing of the Indiana Air National Guard intends to award a sole source purchase order for Advantor equipment. This includes the purchase and installation of two (2) Advantor IG2 FIPS Processors, two (2) Advantor LAN Processors, and five (5) Advantor Expansion Modules. These components are critical for communication with the Advantor Central Station. The justification for a sole source award is based on the unique and specialized nature of the Advantor system. The 181st Intelligence Wing currently employs an Advantor system, and transitioning away from it would incur significant additional costs, jeopardize mission continuity, and risk compatibility issues with existing equipment. Advantor is the only approved company capable of maintaining the current accreditation for the installation's systems. Furthermore, Advantor possesses intellectual property rights for the equipment used on base, which would be breached if another vendor attempted to perform maintenance.
