Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane requires the purchase of 125 Wired 1-Button Remotes, part number 200587, for the FCS13 RE Fire Control System. This procurement is being conducted on a sole source basis from Aimpoint Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the system and its ancillary items. Aimpoint Inc. is the only known source with the necessary proprietary information, technical expertise, and facilities to provide parts that will interface with the laser system. The vendor is unwilling to provide technical data for re-engineering, and pursuing an alternate vendor would involve significant time and cost for qualification, design, and testing. This is a Firm Fixed Price Request for Quotes (RFQ) under FAR 13.101(b) for non-commercial items. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offers are to be submitted via email by 11:00 PM Eastern Time on June 22, 2026.
